Meeteetse RecKid Programs
The Meeteetse RecKid programs strive to create a safe, fun, and educational environment for the youth of the Meeteetse Community. The RecKid programs provide consistent childcare for both Toddlers and Youth to help provide our local families with strong safe and educational programs. We feel that strong childcare programs will encourage families to stay in our community and reassure their children are in good hands, all while learning and growing as students. It is our goal as a program to develop children in an all-around aspect that will instill life lessons and morals. We strongly encourage being productive members of society by setting goals, being a good friend and neighbor to everyone both young and old, and ultimately strive to follow the Golden Rule of Life.

New for children ages 1.5-4 years old! Monday-Thursday 7:45-4:30, Toddlers can come play and learn with our wonderful staff. Send your child all month or just a couple of days, we look forward to having them!

Offering an Afterschool & Summer Program for children Pre-K Class-5th Grade. Corresponding with Meeteetse School’s school year schedule, the Afterschool program operates every Monday-Thursday from 3:20-4:30. Throughout the Summer Months, these children can enjoy the RecKid Summer Program Monday- Thursday 8:00-1:00 and swimming 1:00-3:00.
Cost: $200 per child/program

- Prepare children for Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten by exposing our students to socially, educationally, and physically challenging environments.
-Establish our students’ learning foundations academically, socially, emotionally, and physically to prepare them for higher education.
-Create a structured learning environment that will prepare students for larger classrooms with higher expectations.
- We encourage our students to play and learn together, create relationships, and follow rules and directions to push children out of their comfort zones. Safety and student development are our top priorities. Partnering with outside organizations who are specialized in child development, as well as other educational partners are actively utilized to ensure a well-rounded learning environment for our students

- Provide a safe and positive atmosphere for all students
- To support the exploration of interests and the development of skills creatively while strengthening the students’ academic and physical skills while encouraging youth leadership
-Promote constructive relationships withs adults and peers
-Instill a sense of community by applauding involvement and achievements while inciting a sense of pride in civic actions.
-For children to grow academically, socially, and physically through recreational activities and programs
