The Meeteetse Recreation District planned and added a mountain social race in the Wood River area the 2003 running year. The race this year is Saturday, June 28, 2008. There is races for all abilities, so be part of something special.
Join us for our leisure type race ran on semi maintained road and progressing on to a nice two track for the longer races. We will be running on the historic Kirwin road nestled under 12,000 foot peaks. The Upper Wood River Valley will catch your eye at every turn so don't forget to bring your cameras.
This race will give racers a chance to test lungs and legs at a healthy 7,000 to 8,000 foot elevation.
